Welcome to Elephant Gym.

We cater for people of all abilities and levels, from raw novices to the most experienced fighters.

The gym often travels the country fighting at various shows and events, and offering support in exhibitions and festivals of sports.

 

The instructor 'David Verdi' has over 25 years experience in Thai boxing and has fought and lived in Thailand for many years.

The classes are for both men and women of different levels, some of the members take part in the country fighting events, whilst others come mainly to keep fit and learn self defence techniques.

Newsflashes

Training in Leytonstone is now on 3 times a week; Mon and Tue: Pad work, Foot Work, Drills, Conditioning, Technique, Stamina and Basic Fundamentals. Wed; Sparring, Clinch work and all aspects of fighting.
 
Maxim fought in Crawley at Lumpini's show for the WMC Cruiserwieght title against Erik Loyd.  Maxim beat Eric over 5 hard rounds and won on points to become the new WMC Champion.  Well done Maxim, a very tough fighter.
 
On Sunday 28th Sept 2008 Dino fought in Scotland for the ISKA Commonwealth Title at 85 kg against Paul Grant. He stopped his opponent in the 5th round, with the referee stopping the fight due to his opponent being unable to continue after taking 5 rounds of being pounded by the 'Lion'

Well done Dino we are all proud of you.
